court-cli

The groupant beside yom-hadin/src/main.rs in the Mova repository: what the code computes, what it never does, how to go back from its outputs, its invariants, cost and checks.

Facts

Implementation material. A Mova code model describes this code at one source revision: partial models, finite checks and their stated scope. It is not a reviewed general exposition, and its labels are shown as written, never raised.

Obernants

The typed relations around the forward model: the behaviour complement (what the code never does), the reverse reconstruction (every input compatible with an output) and specialised views.

Argument helpers and effectful command dispatch for yomhadin.

Epoch 2026-10-31

Prospective review preceded test edits. Runtime logic unchanged; three sources gain tests. Synthetic witnesses do not validate legal conclusions.

Composition: Parse first command and rest; positional skips value after every nonboolean -- option. opts parses weights strictly but defaults malformed max/depth/given. Commands load jurisdiction state, invoke helpers and print; judge parses case, formats report then optionally creates/writes protocol; extract can persist each jurisdiction before later errors.

Retained limits: partial syntax, opaque macros; no live corpus, teacher, parser model, production filesystem or frozen gold. Complete semantics and executable approximants remain open.

approximant

Forward model

Argument helpers and effectful command dispatch for yomhadin.

Parse first command and rest; positional skips value after every nonboolean -- option. opts parses weights strictly but defaults malformed max/depth/given. Commands load jurisdiction state, invoke helpers and print; judge parses case, formats report then optionally creates/writes protocol; extract can persist each jurisdiction before later errors.

Not an executable substitute. Percentage approximation is unsupported without a useful metric; future profiles limited to 1/2/5/10% require actual-reference comparison.

models

Typed models: Argument helpers and effectful command dispatch for yomhadin.

Subject: yom-hadin/src/main.rs, SHA-256 28e5125a8b89752d7ae43bef5e31afb5e2b166ecb2dcb42824ce3f568fdd9ecf. Domain: bounded finite synthetic rules/cases; valid indices and successful allocation unless a section narrows this. Each relation observes implementation, not legal authority. Status: partial source-derived model, finite evidence mapped in tests.md.

behavior_complement

Pure flag/positional/opts helpers cannot load corpus or write protocols. A malformed weight pair cannot yield successful Opts. For full commands, earlier side effects before later errors are not excluded.

Operator: stated relation on this source projection. Assumptions: named domain and unchanged dependencies. Evidence: tests.md maps finite observations; other branches remain source review only.

reverse_reconstruction

An Opts output admits omitted options and malformed numeric strings that default identically; first option wins while duplicate weight keys keep last. Positional projection cannot recover consumed flags/values.

Operator: stated relation on this source projection. Assumptions: named domain and unchanged dependencies. Evidence: tests.md maps finite observations; other branches remain source review only.

option_consumption

Only --flagged and --no-protocol are boolean; every other -- token consumes next token in positional even unknown or another option. flag independently sees first occurrence, so the two projections may disagree.

Operator: stated relation on this source projection. Assumptions: named domain and unchanged dependencies. Evidence: tests.md maps finite observations; other branches remain source review only.

numeric_default_boundary

max/depth parse usize else defaults5/3; given parses u8 else None. Weights parse f64 and allow nonfinite values; report statistical interpretation requires separate finite-domain assumptions.

Operator: stated relation on this source projection. Assumptions: named domain and unchanged dependencies. Evidence: tests.md maps finite observations; other branches remain source review only.

judge_effect_order

judge requires positional case, loads jurisdictions, parses opts, reads case, builds/prints report, then computes protocol and creates directory/writes file unless --no-protocol. Late I/O error can follow visible stdout.

Operator: stated relation on this source projection. Assumptions: named domain and unchanged dependencies. Evidence: tests.md maps finite observations; other branches remain source review only.

extract_partial_commit

do_extract iterates selected jurisdictions, gathers sources/trees, extracts then overwrites rules.tsv and prints count. Later jurisdiction error does not revert earlier writes; unknown source kind errors before current extraction.

Operator: stated relation on this source projection. Assumptions: named domain and unchanged dependencies. Evidence: tests.md maps finite observations; other branches remain source review only.

tests

Checks and evidence

External run label: octopus-wave31-court-2026-10-31; exact commands in native-commands.json, per-source observations in source-test-map.json, numeric exits and named outcomes in raw logs.

19 exact selected native tests twice debug and twice release execute actual linked code on bounded hand-built cases. CLI covers argument helpers only. Full extraction/model initialization, actual jurisdiction loading, protocol disk errors, resource exhaustion and malformed public lattices are unexecuted. Module declarations have compile evidence only.

Three compiled source-behavior mutants: count weight, precedence tie, modal tie; each requires compile success, named assertion failure, exact byte/hash restoration and positive rerun. Legacy fixture interventions count separately. Final observations: external evidence-summary.md.

This node observes: Argument helpers and effectful command dispatch for yomhadin.. Unmapped models remain source-derived/prospective, not verified by the whole test count.

The exact per-source names and limits are retained in source-evidence.md.

invariant-and-cost

Invariant and cost

Invariant

flag takes first occurrence and following token without validating token kind; repeated weight key last wins in BTreeMap. Effects are sequential and nontransactional; no rollback promised.

Cost

Argument helper scans O(A) per option and BTree weights O(W log W); command costs include loading, parser, repeated lattice/report work and output bytes. Selected tests exercise helpers only, no live file/model effects.

Symbolic bounds, not timings. Resource exhaustion is not tested.

source-evidence

Source observation map

Actual private pure helpers via bin unit test; no full command effect.
