math-qread
Affine chronological quantities with provenance and separate strict gate.
Epoch 2026-10-31: source-derived partial model; prospective hypotheses retained before changes. Existing behavior unchanged except test helper path extraction. New bounded fixtures avoid annotated text/model/corpus/teacher paths. Child scopes use the parent syntax projection; lexical AST has no macro expansion or semantic resolution. Numeric thresholds and adapter differences are observations, not mathematical correctness proofs.
Wave34 descendant epoch
Five scoped descendants deepen the existing trees; prior models are retained. Synthetic direct-helper fixtures now constrain the new relations, including state/solver and provenance branches formerly source-only. See current evidence; finite checks do not certify English interpretation or general accuracy.

Four passes solve equations with one remaining unknown. Query orders unsupported syntax, rates, comparisons, event sums then state. Answer evaluates leaves; abstain must be called separately.

Executable approximant gap
No useful measured percentage surrogate is supplied for these categorical parse/search/effect observations. Supported future caps are 1%, 2%, 5%, 10% only, requiring an explicit metric and reference comparison. No speed or accuracy guarantee follows.

Gate excludes acceptance for the first failing absent answer/expression, unread, positivity, integer, coefficient, source cardinality/duplicate/required-number predicate. It has no universal explicit NaN rejection.
reverse_reconstruction
All event histories with selected solved affine expression evaluating to output are compatible; compounds and canceled terms prevent unique reconstruction.
coordinate_partition
Unknowns<2^20; leaf j=2^20+j; initial unknown1000+k may collide for large inputs. Admit bounded noncolliding keys.
numeric_threshold
Pruning1e-12, coefficient gate1e-9, integer gate1e-6 differ; not an analytic relative-error certificate.
temporal_effect
Derived transfers enter state but are excluded from event sums; outside piles excluded from all-owner totals. One compiled assertion control for this source: compilation0, false expectation test101, exact byte restore, focused positive rerun0. These are actual source assertions, not copied implementations or semantic proof. Controls ran before rustfmt-only test-block formatting.
No Annotator, read_sent, nonempty query/state/solve constraints or English fixtures executed. Tests cover Lin, compound and abstain only.
Strict math lib Clippy reports113 pre-existing production lints. No executable percentage surrogate, speed claim, model/corpus/teacher/GPU/full-school or held-out execution.

Wave34 bounded evidence — 2026-10-31
Source SHA-256: 8389b8d58f68121743d6346e638601297c3725483f4b9fcd2eb8cd47ef2d028a. Five new descendants refine existing scoped parents, with six typed views each (behavior complement first, reverse reconstruction second). The full original source bytes are preserved; only cfg(test) fixtures are appended. Previous evidence remains historical to its recorded source snapshot.
Ten exact math/lib helper tests across calc and qread pass twice debug and twice release (40 successful named invocations), with identical sorted target-qualified outcomes. This file contributes five selected tests. Actual-source tests use only bounded synthetic expressions/events/provenance; no annotation model, corpus, SVAMP, teacher, full suite or network is invoked.
Three compiled production mutants reject by named runtime assertions: residue subtraction, state subtraction and partitioned provenance reuse. Each restored source hash equals its exact backup; the named positive rerun passes. No compile failure or assertion-only edit is counted as a killed behavior mutant. Detailed raw logs, commands, numeric statuses, backup identities and source-test map are retained in external receipt set octopus-wave34-math-2026-10-31.
Each source syntax projection was freshly materialized twice and compared byte-identically before installation; descendants share the file artifact. Partial lexical syntax is not semantic AST or proof. Event construction from language, broader rate queries, consistency/completeness of the solver, huge numeric domains, allocation failures and universal numerical accuracy remain untested. No executable percentage surrogate or timing claim.
