Descriptant
The store's gates on synthetic records in the wikicorpus layout (60 records, three structure modes): lossless round trip byte for byte including a CoNLL-U field the codec cannot take, deterministic model and files, batch and streaming writers identical, and negative controls. Epoch 2026-11-06.
Approximant
Builds records with sentence rows, CoNLL-U (with a clitic split and SpaceAfter), frames and pragmatics; trains a model on half; writes, reads, damages bytes.
Invariant
Passes only if every record decodes to its exact bytes, the odd records keep their CoNLL-U raw (6 of 60), two writes and the streaming writer give identical files, no damaged file returns wrong bytes and at least one damage is caught, and a wrong model id is refused.
Composition
Exercises model::train, store::write, store::Writer, store::Shard and store::sentences end to end.
Behavior complement
Does not cover real Wikipedia records (the real-data gate is treestore verify), concurrency, or files larger than
memory.
Reverse reconstruction
Inapplicable: a test outcome does not determine its fixtures.
