Register installs table/date/file entrypoints. opts consumes name/value pairs, lowercase ASCII, opt searches reversed so last wins. table consumes it.arg_names before validating VariableNames. summary drops numeric NaN for summaries and prints via it.out.

Executable surrogate gap: no measured cheaper implementation with a useful scoped metric is supplied. Categorical/error/effect relations are exact obligations, not percent losses. Future numeric caps only1/2/5/10%.

Text unique ignores None, numeric summary ignores NaN, logical true counts every nonzero including NaN.
Scope-specific cost: O(number of option pairs) storage and scan; summary sorts each present column O(n log n), table construction O(nw).

reverse_reconstruction
A parsed option list admits differently cased option names; final opt value admits any earlier duplicates. Table names alone cannot recover arg_names history.

See ../tests.md for the actual selected source test and mutant. These tests sample the file, not every fragment branch. Malformed name/value pair excludes successful options; table failure does not restore consumed arg_names. Summary has output effect but returns empty list. Other branches here are source-derived and unexecuted unless the parent test explicitly calls them.
